Did you see Emily Henderson’s home reveal in Domino last month? What a dream. Her wild creativity and ability to mix and match colors like a boss without ever feeling too busy or crowded is quite amazing. Anytime I’m looking for a boost of inspiration when I’m decorating my own space I always turn to Emily Henderson’s Pinterest and blog. Is it possible every project she touches just keeps getting better and better? Her own house was no exception and has me rethinking everything I was doing with this living room project. Don’t you hate when that happens? Right when you make a decision on a project (whether your home or not), as soon as you see something else, you instantly rethink your choice and want to change it. I do that with fashion allll the time. I walk out the door feeling somewhat put together and then I get to the city and I see someone else with a cooler, more stylish outfit and I regret mine the rest of the day. *Sigh*
On to more important things…like getting Emily’s look in your home. If you’re dying for the mid-century modern look with pops of color, and lots of blue, here you go. On her blog, Emily provides all the sources to the items in her home (most of which are spendy or vintage) so I did what I do best and searched for the closest replacements for you. You’re welcome. If I you’d like a similar product for something that’s not in the living room, let me know and I’ll find it for you!
In other news, I worked on a DIY project this past weekend! Yay me for actually doing a DIY. I’ll share it with you in early November and I think you’re going to love it.
