I’ll be honest, I haven’t had much time to work on the One Room Challenge since last week. It’s easy to put it on the back burner when there are other pressing things to get done. While I haven’t done much with the room itself yet, I have been thinking more about what I want to do. If you missed week one and week two, catch up here and here to see the before photos and my inspiration for the reading/guest room makeover.
My sister said she wants a gallery wall, so this week I sourced prints for the wall. My sister and her husband love to travel and are lucky enough to have visited some pretty amazing places, so I thought a travel themed gallery wall was fitting. Minted has a great selection of a variety of prints which is where I found these. My brother in law also has tons of photos from their trips so I plan to incorporate a few of those as well for a more personal touch. I can’t believe we’re already half way through the ORC (and October!) so next week I hope to start styling the place and creating the gallery wall.
As always, browse around and check out the other participant’s projects! Who are your favorites to follow? Last week when I was waiting at the airport for my flight to Iowa I was visiting the other ORC projects and stumbled upon a fellow Iowa blogger, Carrie Corson! I LOVE her beachy cottage home and can’t wait to see the final results of her newly decorated living room. Hope the rest of you aren’t procrastinating like I am!
