I made a little more progress on our bedroom this past month and finally got some art hung to break up our white walls (still need something for the blank wall above the vanity). For our bedroom I wanted a very calming beachy vibe so I stuck with a lots of neutrals and a little pop of blue that we have throughout the whole house. I wanted art that reflected that same neutral, relaxed feel so I chose a combination of art – some with color some more neutral to balance out the wall. Bri Emery’s bedroom has the same minimal feel that I love and it was actually the inspiration behind our room, so I decided to create a similar gallery wall in our room. I had a few frames laying around the house that happened to work perfectly.
Back when I was living in California I went to the Etsy show where I met the sweet and talented Taryn of Taryn St. Michele. I actually was following her on Instagram before that and was a big fan of her prints and gorgeous photography so it was exciting to meet her in person! If you aren’t familiar with Taryn, go check out her shop of super chic prints and you will quickly become a fan too. I knew her serene beach shot (the large middle frame in my gallery wall) would be perfect in our bedroom galery wall and I love that it reminds me of my time on the coast when the beach was just a short drive away.
The bombshell kisses print is another favorite print that I first spotted on Pinterest. We had the perfect place in our living room for it and I’m obsessed. Taryn has a beautiful collection of prints and is generously offering one lucky winner a print of their choice in any size up to 16×20! Enter the giveaway and leave a comment saying which print you would choose.
