Buying art is a difficult thing. You want to make sure you’re purchasing something you’ll love for years. I’m not talking thousands of dollars worth of art, obviously, but the pressure is still there. Which explains why my art collection is minimal. Ok, nonexistent. Somewhere along the line I came across The Aestate on Instagram. Jessica is the artist behind The Aestate watercolor art. You’ve probably seen her beautiful palm leaf prints around the web, but her entire collection is beautiful.
So, with a new house goes new art. I loved Jessica’s watercolor style and knew it would be perfect for my home and something I would keep for years. I was inspired by A Cup of Jo’s bedroom makeover by Emily Henderson, and ever since I kept my eyes peeled for a buffalo print that wouldn’t break the bank. Lo and behold one of my favorite artists had a buffalo print!
I had it printed in a 20×30 size to fit the large wall above the bed. I still need to get a couple wall sconces to anchor it, but I love how it looks already. The print is beautiful in person and of such high quality. Even better, it’s by a talented artist I’m proud to support.
Because Jessica is the kind-hearted generous person she is, she is offering a print of your choice for one lucky winner. You have until February 3nd at midnight to enter to win so go go go!
A couple people notified me my comment section doesn’t have a submit button, so thank you for letting me know! There is a way to still comment by hovering below the comment box on the left side and “Post Comment” should appear. I’m working on getting this fixed (anyone know CSS?) so please bare with me!
